The Process.
It all starts with good concrete preparation.
Diamond grinding the floor removes the “cream” layer and opens up the pores of the slab for best epoxy adhesion. All cracks are filled before the initial basecoat is applied for a smooth and seamless surface. The two-part epoxy flake system consists of 1/4” vinyl flakes being broadcast into an 100% solids epoxy base coat for superior abrasion resistance and acts as a non-slip texture.
The surface is lastly sealed with a polyaspartic urethane clear topcoat that provides superior protection and is UV and chemical resistant. It wont “yellow” over time and can be easily cleaned. It has a low odor and low VOC’s.
Foot traffic within 24 hours after the final topcoat is applied and allow 72 hours before vehicles.
